In the name of God Amen
This is the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Hall of the Parish of Arbory being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die do make and ordain my last will and testament in [the] manner following
First, I command my soul unto God and my body to decent Christian burial.
Secondly, I leave and bequeath under my Daughter Elizabeth the sum of four pounds sterling
Thirdly, I leave and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the sum of four pounds sterling
Fourthly, I leave and bequeath to my Daughter Ann the sum of one pound sterling
Fifthly, I leave and bequeath to my granddaughter Elizabeth Creer the sum of five shillings sterling
Lastly, I nominate and ordain my son William to be my sole and whole Executor of all my landed property, goods and effects of whatsoever denomination movable and immovable debarring all other claimants of affinity with two shillings and sixpence Legacy

William Hall sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and Legacies namely William Quilliam and Edward Watterson

NOTES
- She was baprised in 1773 in Rushen so about 74 years old when she died although the burial register says she was 78
- She died in 1847 in Arbory
- Elizabeth first married John Sewell 1806, William All 1811, an Irishman
- She married John Sewell in June 1806 in German. He was a widower and died 4 months later in October
- She delivered a son Daniel Sewell in May 1807 in German, 9 months after her husband's death
- Some uncertainty about whether Elizabeth's surname was ALL or HALL. Her marriage was to a William All, as was her mention in her father's will. The 1841 census lists Wlliam, Elizabeth and William jnr as All. However, she is recorded as Hall in her will, and subsequent records also list the family as Hall
- She named four children in her will - Elizabeth, Mary, Ann and William. No mention of son Daniel from her first marriage although he does not have a record of burial
- Husband William died 1846 in Arbory, a year before Elizabeth
- The fate of daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Ann is unknown. Son William might have died 1888 in Arbory. This man had an MI
- 1841 Census - might be daughter Elizabeth (25) and infant daughter Mary (6 mos) living in Patrick
